How do you write numbers from 4000?

With a bar over the symbols: it means «times 1000». 4000 is I̅V̅, 10,000 is X̅, 2,026,000 is M̅M̅X̅X̅V̅I̅. This works up to 3,999,999. You can type the bar as an overline (U+0305) or as a macron as in Ī.
