Frequently asked questions
What do the five fields mean?
Minute (0–59), hour (0–23), day of month (1–31), month (1–12 or JAN–DEC) and day of week (0–7, 0 and 7 are Sunday, or SUN–SAT). «*» means every value, «*/15» every 15, «1-5» from 1 to 5, «1,15» exactly these.
What happens if both day of month and day of week are set?
Then either one is enough: «0 0 1 * 5» runs on the 1st of every month and on every Friday. That is how crontab and most systems handle it.
In which time zone do the jobs run?
In the time zone of the server cron runs on. The tool shows the next runs in your device's time zone.
