How are calendar weeks counted?
According to ISO 8601, as usual in Switzerland and Europe: the week starts on Monday, and week 1 is the week with the first Thursday of the year. The first days of January can therefore still belong to the last week of the previous year.
Why does 2026 have 53 weeks?
A year has 53 calendar weeks if it starts on a Thursday or, in a leap year, on a Wednesday. 2026 starts on a Thursday; week 53 runs from 28 December 2026 to 3 January 2027.
Can I print the list?
