How do I convert 1.8 hours to minutes?
The digits after the decimal point are fractions of an hour: 0.8 × 60 = 48 minutes. So 1.8 hours are 1 hour and 48 minutes.
What are decimal hours?
Decimal hours (industrial time) divide the hour into 100 instead of 60 parts. They are used for timesheets and payroll because they make calculating easy: 7 h 30 min are 7.5 hours.
Can working time span midnight?
Yes. If the end is before the start, for example 22:00 to 6:00, the tool calculates across midnight and shows this.
