Frequently asked questions
Are dates and «yes» preserved?
Yes. Reading follows YAML 1.2: 2024-01-01 stays text, «yes» and «no» stay text and do not become true and false.
What happens with several documents (---)?
They become a JSON list with one entry per document.
Are comments lost?
Yes. JSON has no comments, so they are dropped during conversion.
