Frequently asked questions
Why do I still see the old record?
Resolvers cache answers until the TTL expires. After a change, the old value can therefore still appear for as many seconds as the TTL specifies.
Which records do I need for email?
MX for receiving, plus TXT records for SPF, DMARC and DKIM. “Check email security” shows whether everything is correct.
Is my lookup stored?
We cache the answer for one minute so that repeated lookups are fast. It is not linked to you.
