The address your device is currently using on the internet, plus reverse DNS, network provider and what your browser reveals about itself.
We see your address with every request anyway. We only display it.

Frequently asked questions
Why do I only see IPv4 or only IPv6?
Your browser chooses one of the two versions for each connection, usually IPv6 if your connection supports it. The address shown is the one it is currently using to reach us.
Does the IP address show where I live?
No. It reveals the provider and often the rough region, not your home address. We deliberately don’t show a location.
Does my IP address change?
With many home connections, yes, e.g. after restarting the router. On mobile networks it changes often. Fixed addresses are usually only available at extra cost.
